Into It Music’s Stulken steps down from label

Munson assumes full management of the company

Scott Stulken, cofounder and studio manager of Into It Music announced today he will step down from his position with the label.

Stulken said he had been over extended in his personal and professional life and needed to step back from the label to focus on other projects.

“I am sad to lose Scott as a partner, but look forward to continuing to work with him on an advisory basis,” Into It Music co founder Corey Munson said. “Scott has been a close friend of mine for almost 20 years, he may not be involved in the day to day operation of the label, but his example and our friendship carries on.”

In Stulken’s absence, Munson assumes responsibility for all aspects of label management.

“We are heading into a very important period in the label’s existence,” Munson said. “Now that our debut record has been released (Saw the Seahorse - Triangles are for Squares, released 2/1/2011) we are looking to expand the brand, work with more artists and help foster a dynamic and growing music scene in eastern Iowa.”

“This growth will give us the chance to work with others in the industry as well, and I look forward to announcing several new partnerships within the next few weeks,” Munson said.
